How does Laser Resurfacing work?

Laser resurfacing treatment uses focused light energy to shoot micro-channels (1/10 mm) into the skin to stimulate natural collagen formation in the skin.

The entire healing process is completely natural and thus helps to achieve a rejuvenated and radiant complexion.

Be removing problem layers of skin and stimulating collagen formation, rejuvenated dermal layers are exposed and superficial damage can be removed entirely.

How long does Laser Resurfacing take?

Treatment time: full face resurfacing including neck and eyelids: 45-60 minutes
Discomfort level is reported as minimal.
Numbing cream is applied for 60 minutes before treatment.


How quickly can I expect Results?

Very soon after the treatment, the surface of your skin will feel softer and smoother, look brighter and have a more even tone.
For Five to seven days after laser resurfacing, your skin will become dry and peel as the treatment regenerates the upper layer of skin.
The next 3 months will bring further improvements as the deeper layers of the skin continue to produce new collagen.


What downtime should I expect?

Depending on the problem that was treated, initial healing typically takes up to one week.
At this time, you can wear oil-free makeup to minimise redness, this usually fades completely in two to three months.
